Katie Mattson, MA, LPCC

Katie is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a graduate certificate in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. She has over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults in a variety of settings. Katie is passionate about helping people find strength and hope as they journey through life and navigate emotional and relational challenges. She provides a safe, supportive environment in which people can discover themselves, build confidence, improve relationships, and work toward living an authentic, emotionally healthy life. She combines evidence-based techniques with a compassionate client-centered focus and tailors her methods to meet each person's individual needs and journey. She has clinical expertise in complex trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral concerns, life transitions, burn out, and family/parenting struggles.
Katie is also a Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy approved licensing supervisor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider. In clinical supervision, she works to help clinicians create a safe, meaningful, and client-centered space, to empower clients toward growth and healing, and to explore their own identity and how it impacts their work. She has many years of experience to draw from in guiding clinicians toward success with clients and growth as a clinician.
